Truth about Renaissance Man.

The last supper the mathematical code of E=MC2 are all fruits of creativity that has helped society improve the notion of difficult subjects. But don't worry nothing is that complicated really.

The embodiment of these types of cultural education will help us or has helped us to expand our terminology and the words we use in basic communication that helped us evolve and project much more coherently. Renaissance man from the offshoot might firstly appear a bit of a biased or to some a sexist quote, however I could have called it renaissance women.

Hopefully we will get to explore this notion in a later post however at the moment I shall just try and keep it simple, because my train of thought gets confused as it is. And that is not to say this blog post is a critical complaint in any way of self confusion, it's just, it is what it is and I'm sure you can agree it does happen isn't it.

So anyway back to the post. Renaissance Man was and still is I think a cultural movement that spanned roughly the fourteenth through the seventeenth century, apparently it began in Middle Age Italy in then spread to Europe. In some cases even at a level comparable to the proficiency or the accomplishments of an expert.

In 1906 it was said a renaissance man is "a person who has wide interests and is expert in several areas."

So from this quote we see a revival or a romantic passion for the renaissance movement. And at the same time we have to consider that Europe was and still is a leading consumer of art and the high arts, your stereo typical renaissance man today will have to deal with all these cultural truths that pop up.

An example of a universal genius is Leonardo Devinci a universal genius however is a better definition of a polymath and a polymath is completely different to a genius. It has been quoted on Wickapedia that Albert Einstein was a genius but not a polymath. However before he became a genius he must have been a polymath. Leonardo was Italian and Albert was from Germany. Culturally therefore they came from totally different backgrounds however what is important is they come from the same European strand of renaissance men. Devinci was famous for his codes and Einstein famous for his formula's so here I would like to pose the cultural research into defining the difference between codes and mathematical formula's, assuming of course that mathematics and language have some sort of congruence within the "minds and the dialectic of comprehensive thought" (Harold Channer script).

Interestingly though Einstein's educational background started in a gymnasium in the 1880's and Devinci was schooled in a posh part of Florence where his parents moved to give him the best education one because his father was minted and two he had a natural flair for arts and music. Here us where we begin to touch upon the true definition of just how different to the definition of polymath and genius come to play. It happens at the level of expression of creativity and how inward one can go to draw upon the progress of the human thought, expanding the dialectic of human practical consciousness, I think. I'm not sure though right because were all so different.

Again what can be drawn from this popular comparison of minds is that regardless of the earliest schooling the mind of the creator still has the ability to explore, however in support of Devinci's parent's decision to give him the best schooling in Italy it does not do any harm. So why today are sociologists thinking that conscious creativity, is the core route of bringing genocide?

I keep coming back to this analogy time and time again, and as a poet has made me revalidate the train of thought I lay out into the pool of creativity, but at the same time could well have battered my ego, or rather my awareness of the transference of the message, the polymath has to think of these things you see.

The truth is though I'm constantly shifting from different levels of anxiety in the pursuit of happiness with what the mind and the information available online is constantly giving me, for free, it's great isn't it my transference of the post message in trying to perspire is been difficult lately.

Distraction I blame on my own pursuit of other topics and juggling around new blog and researching consumer niche markets with the new tools Google and other internet moguls have recently provided. The extensions of these new gifts are great but they can cause a hesitation in the writing. For example a note pad and pen will be used naturally but the polymath use of the new tools provided can cause a distraction from the focus of the post.

If this post was an academic submission then it would fail because the deep focus of any cultural topic controls the conversation. Despite the retention it's good and that I would say is another reaction to explaining why blogging can be such fun. It's great to read blogs but to understand the nature of the blog is truthfully presently a phenomenon that I find difficult to explain and often endure.

So in conclusion I will stop there and explain why I started this post like you would an academic essay. But without the retractable I. I wrote this post because a twitter friend who incidentally was not following me, grr called me a polymath. Anyway from my therapeutic research of this fantastic compliment I hope I managed to come up with something that appeals to you the subscribers readers and forum lurkers. If someone calls you a polymath don't worry it's definitely a converse compliment. However as you can see a correct definition can be difficult to transpire. If you liked my post please feel free to share it with your friends via social bookmarks and other reader facilities. I know this won't help with getting high rankings with Google however it gives me piece of mind and a nostalgic freedom that choices today are very good, isn't it?
